Last week the Denmark-based company Vanovi announced it acquired Link Medical Systems Europe, an independent service company mainly working out of Spain, France, and Germany.
"Hopefully this will mean more competition in Europe, as it's expected that Link will want to expand to new markets," Anders Fage Jensen, CEO of AGITO Medical, told DOTmed News.
Vanovi owns AGITO in addition to Lindeq and FAMECO Analytical Instruments.
Numed, a well established company in business since 1975 provides a wide range of service options including time & material service, PM only contracts, full service contracts, labor only contracts & system relocation. Call 800 96 Numed for more info.
He said Vanovi already had some shares of Link so when the former partner of the company wanted to focus elsewhere, Vanovi was happy to take over. Service is also a growing market in Europe.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
