The Zurich-based Positrigo has introduced a U.S. initiative aimed at helping neurology practices integrate brain PET imaging into their offices.
The company said its Brain PET Accelerator Program is structured to address logistical, regulatory, and operational barriers that have limited broader adoption of brain PET. The program centers on deployment of Positrigo’s NeuroLF system, a dedicated brain PET device designed for use outside traditional hospital imaging departments.
Under the model, participating practices receive installation and configuration of the NeuroLF hardware and software, along with support for radiotracer access, including coordination of tracers such as FDG, amyloid and tau agents. The program also includes assistance with radioactive materials licensing, radiation safety compliance, staff training and quality assurance.

Additional components cover workflow design for scheduling, tracer injection, scan acquisition, and image processing. Positrigo said practices can also access nuclear medicine or radiology specialists for image interpretation and report generation. Ongoing equipment maintenance and software updates are part of the package.

Positrigo said the program is intended for neurology practices managing neurodegenerative diseases, cognitive disorders and other conditions where functional imaging may inform diagnosis and disease management.
Brain PET studies are traditionally performed in hospital-based imaging centers, in part due to equipment size, tracer logistics and regulatory requirements. Positrigo’s approach packages those elements into a bundled service designed for outpatient neurology settings.
