Carestream Health's new mobile digital X-ray DR-X Revolution can now be sold in Canada.
Last week, the Rochester, N.Y.-based company said Health Canada, the country's device regulatory agency, licensed the DR-X Revolution for sale.
The DR-X Revolution, which uses Carestream's DRX-1 and DRX-1C wireless detectors, is still pending clearance from the Food and Drug Administration.
Carestream
first announced the mobile X-ray in September, and the device made its public debut at the Radiological Society of North America's annual meeting in November.
