Cedar Park, Texas – August 24, 2023 – ETS-Lindgren, the global leader in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Wireless Testing Solutions, proudly introduces its latest achievement in technological innovation: The newly developed SpaceSaverTM 26H EMC Chamber. Showcased at E3 Compliance in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the chamber represents a significant milestone in pushing the boundaries of RF shielding design.

A state-of-the-art modular RF shielded semi-anechoic enclosure designed by expert engineers at ETS-Lindgren to accommodate space constraints, the SpaceSaver offers a compact testing environment with nominal inside shield dimensions of 7.45 m L x 3 m W x 3 m H (24 ft L x 10 ft W x 10 ft H). With an exceptional anechoic test environment and superior performance surpassing stringent standards, the chamber provides a versatile, comprehensive solution for a wide range of testing requirements.

The RF shielded door, equipped with a limit switch, measures 1.1 m W x 2 m H (3.9 ft W x 6.8 ft H) and offers convenient access while maintaining exceptional shielding capabilities. To enhance accessibility, the door is accompanied by a two-piece aluminum custom door ramp with a weight capacity of 317 kg (700 lb).

Because ETS-Lindgren is committed to delivering outstanding performance, our engineers installed technologically advanced positioners as well as DuraSorbTM absorber, guaranteeing high-performance results across various frequency bands. With reflectivity exceeding 35 dB at frequencies above 8 GHz, the absorber's power handling capacity of 106 W per m2 (0.068 W per in2) ensures accurate and reliable testing conditions.

The 7-TR/POL Tripod Antenna is fabricated with non-metallic, non-reflective materials that will not distort measured data. Moreover, the chamber's floor features a raised 6.5-inch ground plane equipped with access hatches and a dielectric floor underlay with vapor barrier — the perfect complement to the medium-duty turntable.

To ensure superior performance and reliability, the chamber design has undergone rigorous testing procedures, including shield verification and anechoic testing. These measures validate the chamber's exceptional shielding properties and its ability to deliver controlled and accurate testing environments.

"We are thrilled to introduce our latest chamber at E3 Compliance in Grand Rapids, Michigan," said Janet O’Neil, Customer Relations Manager at ETS-Lindgren. "This chamber represents a significant milestone in our pursuit of delivering innovative solutions that exceed our clients' expectations."
