InTouch teams up with NTT Data Science on virtual care

InTouch Health is teaming up with NTT DATA Services in the development of a turnkey virtual care solution for opening up access to healthcare services and optimizing delivery of care at reduced costs.

The two plan to leverage each other’s capabilities to assist providers in scaling and implementing a fully-integrated virtual care strategy across health systems, payors, pharmacies, providers, care teams and patients.

The two will oversee the integration of a range of solutions for aligning with organizational initiatives, including strategic planning and consulting, reimbursement strategies, implementation and integration services, training, and ongoing organizational support.

NTT DATA Services will provide its knowledge of health IT and consulting services alongside InTouch Health’s cloud-based network and virtual care solutions for telemedicine.

It is one of many collaborations undertaken over the last year by NTT DATA Services, following those of improve quality and reduce patient cost with AI; Oracle Insurance for creating an end-to-end solution for government payors and health plans; Pieces Technologies to enhance quality and reduce patient care costs with AI and natural language processing; and MD.ai to develop algorithms and automation to enhance the efficiency of data use.
