“The beauty of UniView is its ability to bring data from multiple device types together and arrange their data and alarms on an intuitive, uniform display,” said Muhsin. “With UniView, rather than switching between the various user interfaces on different medical devices, clinicians can view a single clear, consistent display that can help promote data sharing and clinical coordination.”

UniView can display data from eight different types of devices at once, including multi-parameter monitors, stacked pumps, brain function monitors and anesthesia machines.
The solution works in conjunction with Masimo Iris Gateway and Patient SafetyNet connectivity platforms, and can also be used with Masimo Replica, which was
released last month, and enables clinicians to view similar monitoring data for multiple patients and respond to alerts from their smartphone in any location.
Its design is based upon Kite, another solution by Masimo that projects data collected from its Root platform onto a larger screen by aggregating data from all connected devices in a room.
