Zebra Medical Vision announced on Wednesday that its new AI1 offering will be available on Google Cloud.

AI1, which was launched last week, gives radiologists access to the company’s current and future artificial intelligence algorithms for one dollar per scan.

Zebra-Med is continually working on a deep learning engine that’s capable of detecting liver, lung, cardiovascular and bone disease in imaging scans. In the next few years, the company plans to have a complete dictionary of normal and abnormal findings that are automatically detected by the engine.

These findings are integrated into the PACS system running on the Google Cloud Platform, so radiologists can include them in their reading and reporting workflow. The AI1 offering also provides the radiologists with continuous population health data.

Google Cloud also partnered with lifeIMAGE earlier this month to explore point-of-care capabilities for physicians and help researchers identify, share and improve their understanding of population health. LifeIMAGE is now able to leverage the Google Cloud Platform across its various solutions, including its patient engagement tool called Mammosphere.

The AI1 offering integrated with Google Cloud will be on display at the Zebra-Med and Google booths at the Radiological Society of North America annual meeting at the end of the month.
