TORRANCE, CA – January 31, 2017 - Shimadzu Medical Systems USA (SMS) is pleased to announce the opening of a Sales and Marketing office in Beachwood, Ohio, a subdivision of Cleveland, to meet the expanding business needs and requirements for a thriving X-ray healthcare industry.
“With the expansion of our North American business in the last few years, we now must focus on meeting and or exceeding our customer’s needs” says Tom Kloetzly, Shimadzu’s VP of Sales and Marketing. “The opening of a corporate office in the Cleveland area is the first step in meeting those needs”.
Later this year, SMS will celebrate its 30th anniversary in North America, however Shimadzu Corporate is also celebrating a milestone as it has been 142 years since Ginzo Shimadzu founded the company in Kyoto, Japan. Additionally, Shimadzu has been making X-rays and X-ray equipment for more than 121 years, just 10 months after Roentgen first discovered Xrays in 1896.
