Resmed has agreed to sell its MatrixCare business to private equity firm Frazier Healthcare Partners, a move that narrows the San Diego-based company's focus on sleep health, respiratory care and connected home-based healthcare.
MatrixCare develops software used by more than 15,000 providers across skilled nursing, senior living, life plan communities, home health, and hospice. The sale also includes related software businesses marketed under the MatrixCare brand, including Healthcare First, Citus and other home health and hospice solutions. Resmed said the transaction does not include its Brightree business in the United States or MEDIFOX DAN in Germany.
Resmed said the divestiture aligns with its long-term strategy by allowing the company to concentrate resources on higher-growth segments of its business.

Frazier Healthcare Partners, a Seattle-based private equity firm focused on healthcare investments, said it plans to invest in the business following the acquisition.
“Frazier has spent several years evaluating the post-acute care technology sector and believes MatrixCare has established itself as a leading platform serving skilled nursing, senior living and home health and hospice providers,” said Ryan Lucero, general partner at Frazier Healthcare Partners. “We are thrilled to partner with the MatrixCare team and plan to invest aggressively in product innovation to help providers deliver better outcomes as the post-acute care landscape continues to evolve.”
The transaction is expected to close during the first quarter of Resmed's fiscal year 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. Until then, MatrixCare will continue operating as part of Resmed.
The company said it will provide additional information on the financial impact of the sale in its fiscal fourth-quarter regulatory filings. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
