Mindray North America has introduced its latest ultra-premium ultrasound platform, the Resona A20, during this year's RSNA meeting.
The system, which the Mahwah, New Jersey-based company describes as its most advanced to date, is intended to streamline workflow and improve image clarity for radiology departments facing growing demands.
The Resona A20 is built on Mindray’s proprietary Acoustic Intelligence Technology platform and includes features designed to support faster exam times and more consistent image quality. Key components include automation tools, customizable workflows, and an interface designed to reduce operator complexity.

According to Mindray, the system is structured around three focus areas: imaging precision, ease of use, and adaptive intelligence. These tools are aimed at helping clinicians manage higher patient volumes while maintaining diagnostic accuracy.
“The Resona A20 is the embodiment of that promise and a clear statement that Mindray is doubling down in diagnostic imaging; investing in technology, design, and intelligence that redefine what's possible in diagnostic imaging,” said Maher Elhihi, vice president of imaging marketing and corporate communications at Mindray North America.
Mindray collaborated with clinical partners during the system’s development, aiming to align features with the current needs of radiologists and sonographers. The system includes real-time image optimization and automation features that seek to reduce variability between users and improve workflow consistency.
The Resona A20 is backed by the company’s five-year warranty and includes access to its Living Technology program, which offers software upgrades over the device’s life cycle.
Mindray’s ultrasound portfolio is part of a broader product suite that includes patient monitoring and anesthesia devices. The company says its strategy continues to focus on scalable, high-utility systems across the imaging spectrum.
