Lunit, a Seoul, South Korea-based AI firm specializing in cancer diagnostics and therapeutics, and its subsidiary Volpara Health, a leader in mammography AI, debuted their unified AI ecosystem at the RSNA meeting.

The offering combines Lunit's expertise in lesion detection and imaging analytics with Volpara’s risk assessment tools, leveraging data from over 130 million medical images. Key solutions include Lunit INSIGHT Risk and Volpara Risk Pathways, which predict breast cancer risk by integrating imaging, clinical, and lifestyle data.

“This year's RSNA marks an important milestone in our collaboration with Volpara,” said Brandon Suh, CEO of Lunit. “By integrating our complementary technologies, we are transforming the way clinicians detect cancer, predict risk, and manage workflows.”

The partnership also signals an expansion into global markets, with plans to deploy the ecosystem in hospitals worldwide.

Lunit, founded in 2013, has deployed its FDA-cleared INSIGHT suite in over 4,500 medical institutions across 55 countries. In 2024, it acquired Volpara, based in Wellington, New Zealand, further strengthening its capabilities in breast health technologies.

Lunit also debuted an autonomous AI chest X-ray report generation prototype, which automates the analysis and reporting of chest X-rays, categorizing findings by severity and location. Designed to reduce radiologist workloads, it includes voice recognition for editing reports, enhancing flexibility, and precision in high-volume environments.
