Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas and Fovia Inc. have announced a strategic partnership to integrate Fovia's advanced 3D visualization and segmentation capabilities into Konica Minolta’s cloud-based Exa PACS platform.
The partnership was highlighted during the 2024 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Annual Meeting in Chicago, where attendees explored the integration in Konica Minolta's Future’s Lab. The exhibit showcased Fovia’s F.A.S.T. aiCockpit, a tool designed to allow clinicians to interact with and modify AI-generated results within the Exa PACS platform. The integration is supported by AWS cloud technology, ensuring scalability and cost-effectiveness for healthcare providers.
“Konica Minolta's goal is to provide our customers with the most innovative solutions that enable them to provide the best care possible to their patients,” said Matthew Andersen, executive director of product management at Konica Minolta Healthcare. “We chose to partner with Fovia as they have the best advanced visualization tools in the industry, and we’re aligned in our product roadmap vision.”

David Wilkins, Fovia’s vice president of business development, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, noting that Exa PACS users will gain "immediate, anytime, anywhere access to advanced 3D visualization and MPR workflows," streamlining diagnostics and enhancing patient care.
This integration leverages Konica Minolta’s server-side rendering and zero-footprint technology, which enables secure and efficient access to imaging data.
