Volpara gets $7.3 million contract for US military mammo services

Volpara Health, a Lunit company based in New Zealand, announced a $7.3 million contract with the U.S. Defense Health Agency (DHA) to implement its Patient Hub platform to improve mammography reporting, risk assessment, and patient tracking within the military health system.

The five-year agreement aims to enhance breast cancer screening and management services for active-duty military members, retirees, and their families. The DHA oversees healthcare for roughly 9.6 million individuals across branches of the U.S. military.

Patient Hub will integrate into DHA’s facilities, streamlining breast health management by automating appointment scheduling, risk assessments, and mammogram tracking. The platform’s features will allow healthcare providers within the DHA to deliver more efficient, personalized care by reducing administrative tasks and ensuring adherence to breast health guidelines.
