Virtual care platform provider AvaSure, is collaborating with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and NVIDIA to develop an AI-powered virtual concierge for hospitals and health systems.
Expected to launch next year, the system will aim to streamline clinical workflows and improve patient care by integrating AI-driven technologies into hospital rooms.
The virtual concierge will leverage AvaSure's Intelligent Virtual Care Platform, Oracle's AI offerings, and NVIDIA's advanced computing infrastructure, including H200 Tensor Core GPUs and AI microservices.
This combination aims to create "smart rooms" where patients and clinicians can use voice-activated technology to request support, access language translation services, or connect with healthcare staff in real time. For nurses, this system is intended to reduce workload burdens, while for patients and families it simplifies communication and improves access to care.
Adam McMullin, CEO of AvaSure, highlighted the collaboration as a pivotal step in enhancing patient care through virtual solutions. Oracle's Mahesh Thiagarajan emphasized the role of AI and cloud infrastructure in accelerating care delivery, while NVIDIA's Brad Genereaux noted the potential to improve both operational efficiency and patient experiences.
Ultimately, the collaborative project aims to address staffing shortages, rising costs, and complex patient needs by bringing a personalized, AI-supported approach to healthcare. AvaSure will present more information about the solution at Oracle CloudWorld, where the collaboration will be featured in NVIDIA's Data & AI Pavilion.
