Positron Corporation has signed a business cooperation agreement with Shenyang Intelligent Neuclear Medical Technology Co., a subsidiary of Neusoft Medical Systems, to exclusively distribute the NeuSight PET/CT 64 slice scanner in North America.

The NeuSight PET/CT 64 slice scanner, which has FDA clearance, will be available starting July 2024 to imaging practices and hospitals across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The NeuSight PET/CT 64 slice scanner is designed for clinical exploration, data acquisition, and identification, providing comprehensive anatomic and functional imaging capabilities. It supports various molecular imaging applications, including cardiac, tumor, and brain studies. To date, approximately 500 units have been sold internationally.

Adel Abdullah, president of Positron, emphasized the versatility and value of the NeuSight PET/CT, particularly for SPECT providers adopting the PET modality and oncology practices seeking enhanced diagnostic and disease management tools.
