Signatories of the letter included the American College of Radiology, the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), and American College of Emergency Physicians, which also released a video this month addressing Anthem’s policies and discussing what it claims are the dangers imposed by them on patients.
Anthem, in response, says it is focused on guiding consumers to seek out care in the most appropriate places for their needs.
