DOTmed: Please outline the scope of this project.
Phase one of an expansion project at Farwaniya Hospital is part of the Ministry's plan of providing better health care for the public.
Phase one includes the expansion of ER and gastroenterology departments as well as waiting rooms. Phase two will reach the rest of the hospital's departments.
Among the Ministry's short and long term plans are building a new hospital of 955 bed capacity.
