DOTmed: Please outline the scope of this project.
White Plains Hospital is preparing for a major expansion of its Cancer Program. The hospital announced plans to renovate the existing Dickstein Cancer Treatment Center and construct a new adjoining six-story building on the corner of Longview Avenue and East Post Road. The construction will double the size of the Cancer Center to approximately 70,000 square feet, providing space for additional infusion therapy, radiation therapy and physician offices. The hospital is undergoing the expansion in order to accommodate growth in its oncology services and the nearly 20 new physicians and surgeons who have joined their Physician Associates division over the past two years.

DOTmed: What does the timeline to completion look like?
Renovations will begin this summer and construction on the new building is expected to begin in 2015, pending approval by the City of White Plains.
