Charles Alan Iglehart, a longtime imaging industry executive and customer service expert who began his career as an X-ray engineer in the U.S. Army, died early Tuesday morning, his wife said on his LinkedIn page. He was 61.
Iglehart spent more than 30 years in the industry, most recently as an independent broker for medical devices after leaving Genesis Medical Imaging, a Huntley, Ill.-based MRI and CT service company, in July. Previously, he developed customer service programs or held management positions with Siemens Healthcare, Philips Healthcare and KKT Kraus.
His career began in the 1970s, when he served as an X-ray engineer with Moncrief Army Hospital in Columbia, S.C., for which he earned an Army Commendation Medal, according to his LinkedIn page. Iglehart was honorably discharged at the rank of staff sergeant.
A service will be held Saturday at the James J. Terry Funeral Home in Downingtown, Pa. Iglehart is survived by his wife, Jackie, and their four children.
