Seven-month-old Radisphere National Radiology Group raised $27.5 million to make technology upgrades and infrastructure support, the Cleveland radiology provider said Tuesday.
N.Y.-based Maverick Capital led the series C financing round, which included previous investor Oak Investment Partners.
Radisphere provides on-site and teleradiology services to hospitals. It was founded in April by Franklin & Seidelmann Subspecialty Radiology Services, a remote radiology provider established in 2001 by radiologists Dr. Frank Seidelmann and Dr. Peter Franklin.
