Linda McIntire, director of imaging services for Valley Baptist Medical Center met with DOTmed News to discuss the imaging industry at this year's Health Connect Partners (HCP) Radiology and Imaging Conference in San Diego, Calif.
McIntire's nonprofit organization never turns away patients who can't afford the services. For this reason, the center faces challenges like the low reimbursements for imaging services. McIntire also discusses how health care reform will affect her center and the imaging industry and how she hopes to advance her department.
