ECR 2010: Reducción de la dosis de ContextVision y software tridimensional del realce del ultrasonido

por Brendon Nafziger, DOTmed News Associate Editor | March 16, 2010
DOTmed News follows up with Donald Barry, Ph.D., product manager of ContextVision, at ECR 2010 in Vienna, Austria to discuss new developments with the Swedish company's software that let physicians reduce radiation dose exposure from X-ray and CT scans while maintaining clear, high-quality images. Plus, Dr. Barry describes new "volumetrically acquired" image-enhancement software for 3-D ultrasound.

"[It] takes 3-D reconstruction data and removes noise and sharpens edges in a very, very fast time, enabling us to see really good, sharp 3-D images," Dr. Barry says.
