For ten-year-old PACS and radiography company Viztek, it's all about making user-friendly products.
"We try to make our products very simple in use," Bruce Ashby, general manager of Viztek, told DOTmed News during our video interview with him at RSNA 2009, below.
Ashby compares Viztek's products to rented cars--after climbing in, it takes less than half a minute to figure out how the whole thing works.
"Everybody makes X-ray tables and overhead tube cranes, but how easy you make it work is really critical for us," he said.
At RSNA 2009, Viztek was debuting several of their easy-to-grasp products, including a lightweight wireless DR panel, recently cleared by the FDA, auto-stitching features for some DR units, and a flip table.
