We have a boot problem in a GE CTi system with octane host computer. the sequence of the startup is:
- Running power on diagnostics...
- Starting up the system...
- The next message appears: "PANIC: CPU 0: vfs_mountroot: no root found"
"Reboot started from CPU 0"
"CPU 0 rebooting"
If anyone have an idea about this fault I will appreciate any help about it. Thank you.
try reseating the system module, board on the left if looking at the rear. DONT touch gold pads, if that does fix get another cpu it will be the big aluminum thing that looks like a heat sink
Thank you all for your advises, I changed the hard drive and reload software but when the system comes up, there is some problem with the tube configuration and the gantry turns off. I´ve already tried with several system state MO disks.

you have probably a defective hard drive. check the 3 hard drives. another maybe you have a corrupted software. try to reload
