One is a CTI which has a MX 200 tube that just went bad. My question is what needs to be done to convert this unit to a MX 165 tube; other than balance it and changing the settings on reconfig?
The Second unit I have is a Synergy; this unit is giving me a
problem with the database, I can warm up the unit, calibrate it and
it works fine, but when I make a scans it does not display the
images, (scout or axial). when I do and axial it gives me the following error:
application unexpectedly terminated: recon
the system has been shutdown
try to restarting the system by pressing "start up"
I try to regenerate the database by initializing the "sdcidbm"
directory but with this unit is not working. I don't have the cd
driver to reload software; and I think this is probably my next
step. Any suggestions?
I'm pretty sure that's all you need to do to downgrade the tube type to the MX165 (rebalance the gantry and change the tube type in reconfig). If I am wrong, I am sure someone here will correct me.
As far as the Synergy goes... my guess us that you either have corrupted software or a bad hard disk. Either way you will need to reload software in my opinion.
