Hi guys!
I have a problem with a table for GE CT Lightspeed HP60. For horizontal movement, the table is not fixed and is freely moving. I turned off the CT, pushed and put forward the table, turn on CT. Table started with fixed horizontal movement, but doctors say that the table is fixed not as much as before, that is, with a little effort it is moved in a horizontal direction.
Is there a way to strengthen the lock table when moving in the horizontal direction?
Thank you.
Which table do you have? Is the table in two sections or just a carbon fiber top? If carbon fiber top, then check the contact of the top to the cradle drive assy -check voltages and check movement. If it is a 2 section table (GT 1700 or 2000) which part is not working correctly? You can put this table into service mode by following the procedure in the book (very easy) and drive the table with the GTCB to see the problem. Careful that you DO NOT Lubricate the drive rod on the inside of the IMS (the bottom moving section).
Eric,
We have an issue where the table stops elevation the system reads
host: table sub -systemErmes#260115212
Exception Class: Secondary
Severity Pri/Soft
File: mtcb_emc>judgement.cLine#
:125
Function: No system Function....
Elevation didn't move because of Hard line isn't present.
Any ideas?
I have a table of the old model, not 1700 or 2000 GT. I noticed that if I put the effort and move on gorizonali table, a table is not locked with the right effort and scroll roller. I think really need to Cradle Clutch Adjustment. But I have no experience in setting it up. I have read the procedure in the book, and wanted to clarify:
1. I have little to tighten the 1 - ¼ "hex nut and then check the braking force cradle hands?
2. I have to spend some testing with a dynamometer or is it not necessary?
If it's a Milwaukee table, like on a CT/i, find the orange clutch on one end of the drive roller. Now find the large hex nut on the clutch shaft. Loosen the set-screw in the side of the nut. Using a large pliers or channel lock, tighten the nut. Test operation. If it still slips, tighten it some more.
Hi yesterday I was on the CT scanner. I broke away at the rope longtidual encoder. I tried to recover it. After I gathered and pulled the encoder rope and turned on the scanner, the table when you click horizontal movement of restarts and does not move. An error is an encoder. Is it possible to tune the encoder or we need to change it? And another question when setting up a new or old encoder need a Corner Calibration Plate and Side Calibration Bar (this Table calibration bar p / n 2261724 and Table calibration bar p / n 2261701) or not?
Thank you for your help.

I think the encoder is damaged. You need to replace the encoder and potentiometer assembly. You have to have the service manual to set up the new encoder and pot, but you will not need the Corner Calibration Plate and Side Calibration Bar for this. Those are for calibrating the vertical positions.
Hi!
I changed the encoder and the table operating normally mode. But it has is still having problems with fixing. I tightened clutch, but it did not help. Do you think it is necessary to change the clutch?
thanks

Maybe the clutch is bad, but you cannot order the clutch. The field replacable unit is the entire cradle drive assembly. But it's easy to change it. When you take it out, it goes down through the table frame, not up.

First of all, we are talking about a Milwaukee Table right ??
Is the Cradle Clutch Solenoid working properly ?? it is the one on the left side of the table, near the gantry, acting on the clutch, not the one on the right, far from the gantry
While resetting, it is on, then off, and then it is turned on again. Please check it

Yes. This same cradle clutch. It turns on and off when I reboot the table. But when he turned so bad blocks, when ill patients to move laboratory assistants diaper on the table, the table moves in the gantry. And if you check the hand table is fixed, but not hard enough: by pressing the it, it slides into the gantry and the drum below the scroll. I think this is really a defective clutch.

Yes, if you tightened the clutch already and it is not improved, I say the clutch is defective. However, if you order a new drive unit you will probably need to tighten the new clutch too. The factory does not set them tight enough and it will slip too much (but not as bad as yours).
