When I have seen this error it is usually related the the small din 9 connector on the tube. I would check that plug. I am guessing the battery you are referring to is on the Jedi generator and you are trying to do generator cals and got this error. I believe there is a connector from the generator to the tube that may have been bumped during the battery change or the din 9 that goes to the tube has been disconnected.
