Both HDDs are damaged ,so there is no booting of software at all .
I changed both HDDs and made LFC procedure ; I loaded the OS ( CTT 4.5.1) and installed the application SW ( 3.12 ).
After rebooting ,I wanted to install patches ,so I inserted the CD in DVD RAM and clicked on INSTALL SOFTWARE , a window appears " do you want to load from DVD " I clicked on YES . After 10 seconds a window appears says " Timeout.... check CD-ROM drive "

please note that DVD RAM is configured and it is installed in place of CD-ROM and MOD in the system .
So , how /why the system dose not detect the DVD-RAM drive ??
Another problem :
SYSTEM dose not start up , because HINV ERROR appears as power test failer . i think that is because DBPCI is not detected by system .
I can not install patches ,which are important at this stage , because the application software dose not find the DVD-RAM drive !!!

If device is configured in the OS does not mean the application will recognize it I guess.
