I have an Acuson Cypress which reboots any time when going to Color Mode!
This does not happen usually at cold start. But after few minutes by hitting the Color key the system reboots.
Seen the problem before?

You have an overheating issue. Open system up and blow it out real well and make sure all the fans are running. Color Doppler uses a lot of power and therefore a lot of heat.
