(1) CoolView Handpiece (original)
(1) Genesis V Handpiece (replacement handpiece issued by Cutera)
(1) Operator Goggles
(1) Operator Manual

How the unit functions:
Both ExcelV and Genesis modes are fully functional. Per the Cutera website, the ExcelV Laser is "a solid-state laser system that incorporates two proven wavelengths - 532 nm and 1064 nm - to address more than 20 unique indications on all skin type. The excel V laser system features the broadest set of capabilities for treating the widest range of superficial to deep vascular conditions, benign pigmented lesions and skin revitalization concerns. The combination of high-performance dual wavelengths (532/1064) and the proprietary long-pulsed Nd:YAG technology provides faster, more efficient clearing of targeted lesions." For specifics on this laser's capabilities please visit: https://cutera.com/excelV A video conference or on-site inspection to view the device prior to deposit can be arranged upon request. INSPECTIONS ARE AVAILABLE ON-SITE ONLY VIA VIDEO AND/OR IN-PERSON (REQUESTS TO INSPECT THE UNIT OFF-SITE CANNOT BE ACCOMODATED).

What we love about this laser:
Cutera best describes the excel V laser system as featuring "the broadest set of capabilities for treating the widest range of superficial to deep vascular conditions, benign pigmented lesions and skin revitalization concerns." Our practice priced out the vascular treatments areas based on small (eg. nose), medium, or large (eg. full face). This laser was a great complement to our injectable services, being used on occasion to treat minor bruising for patients who forgot to adhere to their pre-injectable protocols. It was used post-surgically with patients to help improve the appearance of scars. And our laser Genesis package was sold in a series of three treatments as a great non-invasive facial rejuvenation treatment for patients of a wide age range.

Why we are selling:
Prior to the shutdown of 2020, this ExcelV/Genesis unit had been a great addition to our practice. During the shutdown last year, our plastic surgery practice gradually shifted to a more surgically staffed mix as we reopened in phases. Most of our aesthetic staff either had children at home or were working part-time within hospital settings. Our surgical focus translated into having a dedicated on-site surgical staff for the purposes of infection control. This means our facility no longer has the staffing capabilities for promotion of services for this unit, as there is essentially nobody available to operate the unit on a regular basis.

We are the original purchaser and this device was purchased new. The unit would be considered in good condition in regard to equipment standards, with a couple of cosmetic scuffs (which can be seen in accompanying photos). Cosmetic issues do not impact the use/performance of the laser. This laser has worked great for our office. The device has been maintained by Cutera while under warranty, and the device's electrical safety checked by MKH as part of our AAAASF standing to ensure all equipment is in operating condition. There is no manufacturer's warranty* and the unit and all components are being sold as-is.

Cutera service dates under the warranty include:

12/29/2014: initial warranty check

02/02/2015 & 02/09/2015: new foot switch was ordered and installed

11/09/2016 & 11/28/2016: optics were realigned and a handpiece was replaced along with: KTP crystal, control pcb, display pcb, and mezzanine pcc

02/14/2019 & 04/02/2019: optical deck realigned

07/24/2020: technician replaced Footswitch (DIN PCB LEMO) & Footswitch Lemo (new strengthened cable) as preventative maintenance, and replaced Coolglide DI Cartridge Filter & Micron Filter
