DELRAY BEACH, Fl. - Heather Havericak is appointed to the position of chief executive officer of Delray Medical Center, effective July 12th, 2024. In this role, Havericak will be responsible for overseeing all strategic, operational and clinical activities at Delray Medical Center.
“Heather is an executive with more than 17 years of healthcare leadership experience in South Florida. With her experience, clinical background and knowledge of the market, she will ensure Delray’s ability to execute on its quality and growth initiatives,” said Maggie Gill, group president for Tenet Healthcare’s East Coast region. “We look forward to Heather continuing her career with Palm Beach Health Network and our community.”
Havericak came to Delray from Broward Health where she served in a variety of leadership roles. She spent the last four years of her tenure as the CEO of the system’s flagship facility, Broward Health Medical Center, which includes the Salah Foundation Children’s Hospital. Under her leadership, the organization expanded key service lines including robotics, neurosciences, oncology, women and children’s services, and cardiology. Heather has a strong background in operations and has been recognized for leadership, growth and mentorship.
Always involved in the community, Heather has served on a variety of nonprofit organization boards, including the South Florida Chapter of the American Heart Association, Gilda’s Club South Florida and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce.
