Five minutes in healthcare - featuring Dr. Padmini Murthy

por Philip F. Jacobus, CEO | November 16, 2020
Dr. Padmini Murthy
Five Minutes in Healthcare is where I discuss current events with some of the industry's most influential leaders, as well as innovative thinkers who are working to meet the challenges of the novel coronavirus.

In this installment, I check in with Dr. Padmini Murthy, professor and global health director at New York Medical College School of Health and Sciences. She is also the secretary general of the Medical Women’s International Association, as well as the American Medical Women's Association, both of which she represents to the United Nations.

We talk about Dr. Murthy's new book, which examines the role of technology in promoting public health, and the big picture challenges facing global efforts to advocate women's health and wellbeing.

We hope you enjoy the video. Please tell us what you think, and let us know who you would like to see interviewed next:

I appreciated Dr. Murthy's brilliance and passion for advocating for raising standards and equality in healthcare throughout the world and explaining the many ways technology is creating safety for women and girls. A very interesting interview. Thank you!
