Five Minutes in Healthcare is where I discuss current events with some of the industry's most influential leaders, as well as innovative thinkers who are working to meet the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic.

Over the last week I have had the pleasure of speaking to Dr. Joel Diamond, Joseph Chackola, Josh Weiner, Sonia Singh and Sean Callahan. Each interview is approximately five minutes long, or a few minutes over five.

In this installment, I check in with Dr. Joel Diamond, cofounder and chief medical officer for precision medicine company, 2bPrecise. We discuss the emergence of precision medicine, how the principles of precision medicine are being applied in healthcare today, and what the future looks like.

In this installment, I check in with my friend Joseph Chackola, who recently retired after a career in healthcare, about the spike in coronavirus cases happening in India, and how attitudes toward the virus have changed in the country over time.

In this installment, I check in with Josh Weiner, CEO of SR Health. We discuss the importance of communication between providers and patients, how unique new tools are addressing long-standing access and education road blocks, and what all this has meant during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this installment, I check in with Sonia Singh, vice president of Healthcare Consumerism at AVIA, to discuss how new technology has opened the door to contactless visits during the pandemic. We talk about what this transformation looks like in different stages of the care continuum, and the role these technologies might play in a post-COVID world.

In this installment, I check in with Sean Callahan, sales and marketing director of iMedical Equipment & Service, a company that specializes in refurbished medical technology. They discuss the company's charity endeavors in Africa and around the world, bringing healthcare technology where it's needed most, and what goes in to keeping those systems operational.

We hope you enjoy the videos. Please tell us what you think, and let us know who you would like to see interviewed next!
