(EL SEGUNDO, Calif.) With these new partnerships, RP now serves more than 925 hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers.

This latest round of organic growth includes the addition of new client sites in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma and Texas. These additional sites expand existing partnerships with leading health systems, Tenet and HCA.

“RP’s scale, flexibility and investment in innovative clinical programs manifest as a differentiated resource that enhances outcomes and compliments our growth strategy,” said Roddex G. Barlow, chief operating officer at The Hospitals of Providence Memorial Campus and Providence Children’s Hospital, part of Tenet. “The RP team has been responsive, attentive and trustworthy; it is a comforting and recurring reminder that we made the right choice partnering with them.”

Hospitals and health systems increasingly turn to RP for integrated solutions with a focus on clinical excellence delivered by local radiologists. This is resulting in a 99.5% client retention rate.

“RP’s commitment to, and investment in, clinical value programs align with our focus on measuring clinical outcomes and meeting clinical metrics,” said Jim Schrader, vice president of physician and ancillary services at Union Hospital. “Radiology plays an important role in meeting our quality goals. We are confident we have found the right partner and look forward to working together to enhance value to our patients and our physicians.”

This recent growth comes on the heels of several practice partnerships announced in 2019, including Austin Radiological Association in Austin, Texas, Desert Radiology in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Greensboro Radiology in Greensboro, North Carolina.

“We are off to a strong start in 2019 with the addition of new client sites, new practices and continued progress in building unique clinical and service capabilities,” said Rich Whitney, RP’s chairman and chief executive officer. "Our differentiated offering is beginning to change the way health systems view the radiology service line, which, in turn, is raising their expectations of value. Our physicians and support team members understand that it is a privilege to serve our clients and their patients, and we are committed to continuing to raise the bar.”
