Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. named Scott Goodwin vice president of sales Monday, putting the former Philips and Siemens executive at the helm of CT, MR, X-ray and ultrasound sales and customer training.

"Scott has an excellent record in the diagnostic imaging market and brings strong experience to Toshiba," Dan Fowler, general manager and senior vice president of the Tustin, Calif.-based company, said in a statement.

Goodwin most recently worked at Philips Healthcare, where he served as general manger of the nuclear medicine business. Before that, he spent nearly two decades at Siemens Medical Systems, where he worked as national sales director for PET/CT systems, vice president of CT business management and general manager of Western Zone sales.
