National Imaging Solutions has acquired DynaRad, the oldest U.S. manufacturer of portable X-ray systems in the U.S.

With DynaRad, National Imaging Solutions can supply customers with portable X-ray machines, including Micro-X Rover, a mobile field solution equipped with nanotube technology.

“Many of NIS' customers are urgent cares, freestanding ERs, outpatient clinics and other smaller healthcare facilities. Most need X-ray capabilities but with highly mobile and cost-effective requirements. DynaRad's ultra-portable X-ray systems are a great fit for many of NIS' customers,” National Imaging Solutions CEO Arleigh Halterman told HCB News.

Using its carbon nanotube technology, Micro-X Rover allows for high-precision imaging while providing lightweight maneuverability. Weighing 209 lbs, the solution can be used by facilities of all types and sizes and is equipped with design features that make optimal positioning easier, for better patient imaging outcomes.

Another offering of DynaRad’s is the Phantom, an agile, lightweight and flexible portable X-ray solution. With state-of-the-art functionality, the system can be deployed fast, used to make optimal positioning easier and minimize disturbances for patients.

DynaRad offers 30 years' experience and other capabilities in its technology, including fully integrated digital imaging; all day battery operation for non-supply powered facilities; bedside positioning for erect, supine, or lateral exams; multiple tie-down points for emergency, unpackaged transport; and cart size, agility, and maneuverability designed for single operators.

National Imaging Solutions provides new and used radiology equipment procurement to providers nationwide, including X-ray equipment, ultrasound systems, MR scanners and CT. It also offers field service, PACS management and hosting and complete medical imaging service needs for maximum equipment uptime.
