Imaging Opportunities
In terms of work environment, technologies, patient population and scheduling, you'll find what you seek with St. Joseph Hospital's Imaging Services. Moreover, as a values-based organization, we strive to fully accommodate the personal and spiritual needs of our employees.
We employ Technologists of nearly every specialty, and we serve not only the patients of St. Joseph Hospital but also Children's Hospital of Orange County. This provides a significantly greater range of challenges than encountered at most other hospitals. Our modalities include:
- MRI
- CT Scan
- Ultrasound
- Nuclear Medicine
- Diagnostic Radiology
- Interventional Radiology
Constantly evolving and improving.
Our Radiology Department utilizes a fully operational digital PACS system, throughout all Imaging modalities. We have a PET Scanner, soon to be replaced with a new PET/CT in our Outpatient Nuclear Medicine Department, a multi-row CT, two 1.5 Tesla MRI Units, a brand new Interventional Radiology Biplane Lab, and immediate plans for four new Ultrasound units.
Focusing on employee needs.
Each year, we have Gallup conduct a poll on employee satisfaction, then form staff-level teams to recommend process improvements to management. Employees can also enhance their skills through continuing education programs. We even hire ergonomic experts to help ensure optimum working conditions.
Imaging Services operates 24/7/365, providing every level of care from regular outpatient services to high-acuity inpatient. Shifts are 8, 10 and 12 hours.
