17th International Congress of
Dentomaxillofacial Radiology
The 17th Annual International Congress of Dentomaxillofacial Radiology will be held June 28 - July 2 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The theme for this year's meeting will be "Imaging in Perspective." There are many changes and developments in maxillofacial radiology, and the theme of the conference will offer many opportunities to focus on various aspects of new imaging modalities, as well as, the role of maxillofacial radiologists in dentistry and medicine and on new teaching methods, which are especially helpful in the field.

The pre-congress course will take place on Sunday 28th June, 2009. The congress itself will commence on Sunday 28th June late afternoon with the Opening Ceremony and Reception until Thursday 2nd July, 2009. In keeping with the tradition of the congresses, the planned social events will be extra special.

Amsterdam is easy to reach by plane and train, and for people living in Europe also by car. More than 90 airlines have regular flights to and from Amsterdam Schiphol International Airport, providing direct connections with hundreds of other airports all over the world.

The city has plenty to offer for accompanying persons and is a good place to start if you want to spend some more time in Europe after the conference. The city centre is very compact (everything within walking distance) and public transport is excellent.

The conference will take place in the RAI congress and exhibition centre. Facilities are state-of-the-art.
