HARTFORD, Conn. & SPRINGFIELD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jefferson Radiology, an affiliate of MEDNAX (NYSE:MD) and Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI) today announced the launch of a new collaborative agreement for CDI’s Springfield location, combining physician excellence with industry leading technological capabilities to further cement their reputations as providers of choice in the Springfield market.

Jefferson Radiology and CDI share a strong commitment to improving patient care and outcomes through a sophisticated network of outpatient imaging centers and sub-specialized radiologists. With this new collaborative venture, CDI will leverage Jefferson Radiology’s 60+ sub-specialized radiologists to provide improved patient care to the Springfield, Mass. community. The partnership gives both companies a strong competitive position as leading healthcare providers in the Northeast.

In addition to reading all of CDI’s advanced imaging cases for their Springfield, Mass. location, a Jefferson Radiology physician will be on staff at the CDI location to facilitate complex exams and procedures.
