Siemens Healthineers in Canada is launching its Remote Applications Coach for CT program. Designed to educate and improve the workflow of computed tomography (CT) and Molecular Imaging (MI) Hybrid Systems for Super Users, Remote Applications Coach for CT can help a health care organization transform its delivery of care and improve the patient experience. This program adds to the existing Remote Applications Coach for MR that was launched in May last year.

With Remote Applications Coach for CT, a Siemens Healthineers Clinical Application Specialist works with a healthcare organization to standardize and optimize the care protocols of their CT or MI Hybrid Systems while also ensuring that the Super User is fully trained on and confident with the equipment and its applications. The goal of Remote Applications Coach for CT is for the Super Users at the organization's main campus and satellite locations to follow the same set of operational protocols when creating images for radiologists, thereby optimizing clinical outcomes for patients and operational outcomes for the organization.

"As part of our expanding portfolio of UpSkill Services, we are pleased to introduce Remote Applications Coach for CT," said Maxine Badawi, Senior Applications Manager at Siemens Healthineers. "Remote Applications Coach for CT provides customers with access to a bilingual Clinical Application Specialist who helps them address today's healthcare challenges with a plan tailored to their unique department's needs and goals."

Remote Applications Coach for CT provides health care organizations with standardization across multiple work shifts and facility locations, as well increased efficiencies with easy and remote access to expert knowledge. Accessible training by Siemens Healthineers staff helps retain talent by cultivating an environment of more satisfied employees, and importantly, improves the patient experience with the health care organization.
