Pompano Beach, FL - Dave Band has been named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Platinum Medical Parts, LLC. Working with Senior Vice President Scott Simmons, Band will be responsible for expanding the company's presence in domestic and international markets and building strategic relationships with third-party service providers, OEMs, and leasing companies.

Platinum Medical Parts entered the third party replacement parts industry in 2007, introducing an innovative way of providing MR parts and support to third-party service providers and imaging centers. Using expert field engineers to handle calls, Platinum Medical Parts, LLC helps companies get the right parts fast. The company aims to change the face of the replacement parts industry by offering Hero Kits and by substantially reducing the heavy penalties associated with restocking fees.

"For years, remarketing companies have held customers captive with an antiquated parts ordering process. The old model imposed heavy restocking fees on customers, essentially penalizing them for making the wrong parts choices," says Band. Band is the founding president of the International Association of Medical Equipment Remarketers and Servicers (IAMERS).
