ContextVision has launched an image enhancement product for ultrasound, which the company says meets the demand for stronger processing without compromising the natural look of the images or introducing artifacts.
Called Rivent, the product is the eighth generation of ultrasound enhancements for the Swedish company, which works with OEMs to offer the solution. It was on display in the company’s booth at the RSNA annual meeting.
“We have seen a large demand for stronger processing, more contrast and more well-defined borders,” Ann-Sofi Hoff, marketing and business development manager for the medical imaging business unit at ContextVision. “With Rivent we have now achieved that. It can address this and still maintain the natural look, or sometimes people say the ‘MRI look.’”
