Bellevue WA, USA, February 7th, 2019 – At the SCMR 2019 Meeting in Bellevue, Washington, which brings together top clinicians and researchers within the cardiovascular and MRI communities, Circle Cardiovascular Imaging Inc. (“Circle”), and Galgo Medical (“Galgo”), announced an agreement for distribution and joint development with respect to MRI scanner application products and workflows, with corresponding postprocessing capabilities. The focus will be to improve cardiac magnetic resonance (MR) imaging workflows and diagnostic tools, to expand accessibility and use of Cardiac MR to electrophysiology procedures such as atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia ablations. As current global leaders in Cardiac MRI reading and reporting solutions, this joint agreement will further expand Circle’s innovative technology and product offerings.

“This agreement is transformational for Circle,” commented Greg Ogrodnick, President and Chief Executive Officer. "Advanced Cardiac Imaging including both Cardiac MR and Cardiac CT continues to expand its role in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiac arrhythmias, so Circle is very excited to be able to work with Galgo on the development and commercialization of the ADAS 3D software platform. Galgo established itself as an early innovator in this field and through this partnership, Circle will bring the power of its organization and customer base to make the ADAS 3D software more widely available to the global electrophysiology community. From day one, this transaction is accretive to the company, and strengthens our leadership position in cardiac imaging globally, and in the emerging market for ablation planning in atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia procedures."

“To be partnering with Circle Cardiovascular Imaging is an exciting opportunity for Galgo that we believe will impact the future of the field of Electrophysiology. Given our ability to translate MRI and CT images for the clinical use of electrophysiologists and the market leadership, and continuous drive for innovation of Circle in the field of cardiac MR, we will push to improve the treatment of atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia ablation procedures for the benefit of health care professionals and their patients” said Luis Serra, President of Galgo Medical.
