My time at ASNC

Two weeks ago, I traveled to Boston to attend the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. I met Don Bogutski there and together, we walked the show.

Generally speaking, tradeshows are shrinking in size. ASNC was interesting and just the right size - not too big and not too small.

I saw some very interesting products; software programs to help nuclear cameras, new nuclear cameras, a very interesting N-13 generator, even portable nuclear cameras.

The exhibit hall had good traffic and the educational sessions were also well-attended.

I believe there's a reason a show like ASNC's is doing well. As our population ages, there will be a greater need for diagnosing cardiac disease and the general opinion at the show is that nothing does a job better than a reliable nuclear camera.
