Absolute Imaging Solutions™ launches AISConnect™ mobile app to simply service requests for its customers

Press releases may be edited for formatting or style | July 30, 2014
Stokesdale, NC - July 25, 2014 - Absolute Imaging Solutions™ (AIS) has launched AISConnect™, a proprietary mobile application that has raised the bar for how molecular imaging systems providers manage their technical customer support.

For more than a year, AIS field service engineers (FSEs) have collaborated with an outside development team to create the app while collecting insight and feedback from customers about its features and functionality. Later, customers were re-engaged during AISConnect's four-month beta testing as it was readied for launch.

AISConnect uses QR Codes to simultaneously notify an assigned FSE and the AIS dispatch team when a customer's technical service request is received. Once a customer has been enrolled in the AISConnect program, AIS assigns them a unique QR Code to affix to their imaging equipment or system.

AISConnect uses QR Codes to deliver simultaneous notification

When a service call is needed, the customer scans the QR Code with a mobile device to initiate
the notification, and the customer's assigned FSE is notified immediately through both the AISConnect app and AIS' company email. If for any reason the engineer does not confirm receipt of and respond to the request within 20 minutes, an additional notification is sent to the AIS dispatch team so they can contact both the engineer and the customer to ensure a prompt
response.

"There's one reason we developed AISConnect: to simplify the service request process - for our
customers," said Mark Shina, founder and CEO of Absolute Imaging Solutions™. "We are steadfast in our commitment to make technical support accessible, responsive, reliable, and
thorough - for our customers - Absolutely. Guaranteed. It's that simple."
