OhioHealth has announced plans to expand services in the Hilliard area with the new OhioHealth Hilliard Health Center. The 35,000 sq. ft. facility, located on Britton Parkway at I-270 and Cemetery Road, is slated to open in January 2014.
"Hilliard is a growing community and we are excited by this opportunity," said Sean Huffman, president, OhioHealth Neighborhood Care.
"While we have been serving Hilliard for many years, to continue meeting the needs of the community and ensure an excellent, high quality patient experience, it was time for us to expand our current offerings. By bringing together all of these services in one location, our patients will have more convenient access to OhioHealth and will experience increased coordination of our expert care near where they live and work."
Several OhioHealth physician practices and services will relocate to the new health center, including:
--Orthopaedic Specialists of Central Ohio
--DeWalt Family Medicine at Mill Run
--The Doctor's Office at Hilliard Square
--MAX Sports Medicine
--Hilliard Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation
In addition, several new services will be offered, including:
--OhioHealth Laboratory Services
--OhioHealth Urgent Care
--Advanced diagnostics (MRI & X-ray)
--Expanded rehabilitation including physical therapy and hand therapy
OhioHealth's WorkHealth located on Cemetery Road will remain in its current location, and OhioHealth Sports Medicine Institute will continue to provide athletic trainers in all three Hilliard high schools and middle schools.
The OhioHealth Hilliard Health Center will be part of a 55-acre mixed use development that will also include a grocery store, gas station, apartment homes, restaurants and medical office buildings.
