These TENS units are an Australian product developed specifically for labor pain relief. Unlike a conventional TENS these single channel units have a BOOST mode which amplifies the nerve stim by 2 to 3 times upon prompting by the mom during contractions. Included is a TENS, neck lanyard with a tear away safety release, an electrode lead, new 9V battery and the original hardshell carrying case. Standard electrodes are available for these and a supply of five of these may be available for purchase at the time of sale (out of stock at the time f listing). The only note on condition is that the locking tab on the battery compartment top is missing (design fault?). In the pictures of the top of both units this part is securely held in place by a piece of clear scotch tape. This this tape can be easily replaced when the battery is changed after 15 to 30 hours of use.
