The Sesamoid Plasty is Zimmer Biomets hardware platform for the unicondylar*, total knee and total hip replacement* applications. The platform and its applications are designed to allow surgeons the ability to precisely and intraoperatively visualize the positioning of the instrumentation relative to bony structures in real time and in three dimensions. The Sesamoid Plasty includes both the Sesamoid Plasty Computer and the Sesamoid Plasty Camera, which are housed on the same stand.
Condition & Testing
This device is in cosmetic and tested working condition with normal signs of wear from previous use. Powers on and passes all self-checks then proceeeds to signs you into the software automatically. Start-up screen has 3 options: Start, Tools & Logout, which I suggest you don't press unless you have the log-in. I proceeded to press start (see pictures), it walked me through the surgeons info input, the patients info input, the type of surgery (body part) then it proceeds to the program for that body part and I tested no further. Overall a very nice program. The screen has a couple of superficial mars. The computer is good and it is unapparent when the computer is on the screens imperfection. The laser is untested but it appears everything is in working order. The arm for the camera head adjusts properly but could use some tightening to keep it in the upright position. The camera head is missing the mounting bracketin the pictures although it is included and the user's manual and the software tell you exactly how to install and mount. Rolling stand is smooth and has locking casters which are working properly. The tool bag has a bit of wear but the tools and manuals have hardly a sign of use. Like new. The pole and stand have a couple scratches but still very presentable. Cord is good and manuals are manufacturer's copies.
