The 24-H High Loading Level Cot has all the features of the standard 24 Multi-Level Mortuary Cot, with an added high loading level capability [an 8th level of positioning is provided at the loading end only for use with high-floored vehicles - 4" (102 mm) higher]. This allows one person to perform retrieval without assuming the full weight of the cot and body. In confined areas, it acts as a highly maneuverable, two-wheeled stretcher when the undercarriage is folded and locked.

It can carry a load limit of 400 lb (182 kg) and is equipped with adjustable load end wheels that can fold up and be locked in place when transporting in a vehicle. The cot is also equipped with built-in stair guides to make movement down stairs go more smoothly.

The 24-H is designed to transport a body, for professional use by one or more trained operators. It is designed for roll-in loading to help reduce the risk of back injury to mortuary service personnel.
