Our Women's Health issue

Some of you are receiving either in your email box or mailbox our July issue, which is our annual Women's Health issue. You will recognize it as the one month out of the year that our logo is pink.

This is another great issue and I encourage you to read it.

Our recurring "Future Of" was contributed this month by Jim Culley. Jim shares some very interesting insight and I am not surprised given his illustrious career.

We also interviewed Bruce Slawitsky, VP at the Hospital for Special Surgery, one of the largest independent specialty hospitals in New York City.

If you have any older female relatives, you will want to read our bone densitometry piece and we look at the differences between tomosynthesis and 2-D mammography from several perspectives.

There is also a very interesting story on ultrasound and its role in women's health — not to mention an equally interesting piece on alternative methods of breast imaging, such as MR and MBI. In that article we speak to Dr. Maxine Jochelson, Dr. Debra Monticciolo, Dr. Sean Leong and other experts.

In short: this issue is a must read and I know you will enjoy it.
